Job Title: Encoder
Job Summary:
The Encoder is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in the company’s systems and databases. This role ensures that all information is encoded correctly and efficiently to support smooth operations and reliable reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter, verify, and update data into designated systems with speed and accuracy.
Review and cross-check information for errors, inconsistencies, or missing details.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.
Organize, sort, and prepare documents for encoding.
Generate reports and assist in data retrieval when required.
Coordinate with other departments to validate information as needed.
Follow established data management and security protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, vocational course, or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and basic database systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to type at least 40–50 words per minute with minimal errors.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks with efficiency.
